SWIFT details, a physical Arusha, Moshi or Dar es Salaam address, and a TIN on the invoice are all ordinary and expected.
What is not normal
An individual's personal account. An account in a third country unconnected to the business. A bank change requested by email late in the process — the classic invoice-interception pattern.
Requests to label the transfer as a gift or family support, which are attempts to reduce the bank's scrutiny and your recourse.

Send a small first transfer and confirm receipt by voice before sending the balance. Split payments so no single loss is catastrophic.
